Your other homepage

For a lot of local businesses, the Google Business Profile brings in more calls than the website. Plenty of owners haven't looked at theirs in a year.

Why it matters

Your profile is the box on the map: hours, photos, reviews, and a button that calls you. When a tire goes flat on I-69 at nine at night, nobody reads an About page. They tap the first shop with decent reviews and a phone number that works.

Most profiles get set up once, in a hurry (I've done it too), and then sit for years while the hours drift, the photos age, and a stranger suggests a new phone number that Google decides to believe. The ones that win get tended. Right categories, real photos, posts that prove someone's home, and an owner who answers every review.

What's included

  • Setup and cleanup

Help with verification, then the right primary and secondary categories, services, hours, and service area.

  • Photos and posts

Fresh photos of your actual work and regular posts, so your profile looks open for business.

  • Reviews

Replies to every review, and an honest way to ask for more. No fake reviews, no gating.

  • Watching for changes

Google and the public can suggest edits to your profile. I catch the bad ones and flag spam from competitors.

  • Tracking

Calls, direction requests, and website clicks, with tagged links so GA4 credits the profile for the leads it brings in.

  • One location or many

I manage profiles across dozens of locations in my day job, so a second or third location is no trouble.

Questions

How is this different from local SEO?
Your profile is one part of local SEO, and usually the fastest to improve. Local SEO also covers your website, listings, and reviews. Many businesses start with the profile.
Can you remove a bad review?
Only Google can remove a review, and only if it breaks Google's policies. I can flag the ones that do, and help you answer the rest well. A good reply often does more than a removal would.
Do you need access to my account?
I need to be added as a manager. You stay the owner, and you can remove me any time.
What does it cost?
A monthly fee based on how many locations you have and how much work the profile needs. I'll look at your profile first and give you a quote.

Other services

I also offer Website Design & CRO, Local SEO, and Fractional Marketing Leadership. I work with businesses across Michigan, especially around Flint and Genesee County, and the rest of the US.

When did you last look at your profile?

Send me your Google listing. Within two business days, I'll reply with the first thing I'd change, and why it costs you calls.

Free, and I read every one. I reserve the right not to answer some of them. The fine print.
