Three pins on a map

When someone nearby searches for what you do, Google shows a map with three businesses on it. That's the whole race. I help local businesses get into those three spots and stay there.

Why it matters

Google sorts local results by three things: how well you match the search, how close you are, and how well known you are around town. You can't move your shop. You can do a great deal about the other two.

At Haley Mechanical I was the whole marketing department for ten years. We grew from 13 people to $25 million mostly by being easy to find, and that took a website that said plainly what we did and where, a profile kept current, listings that agreed with each other, and a steady stream of honest reviews. None of it is a trick. It's maintenance, done on purpose.

What's included

  • An audit first

Technical problems, thin pages, and what the businesses outranking you are doing differently, explained in plain English.

  • Service and location pages

Real pages for what you do and where you do it. Not one page copied twelve times with the town name swapped.

  • Google Business Profile

Categories, services, photos, and posts that match how people search. See Google Business Profile management.

  • Listings and citations

Your name, address, and phone number the same everywhere Google looks, with the duplicates cleaned up.

  • Reviews

A simple, honest way to ask happy customers for reviews, and a habit of answering every one.

  • Reporting

Calls, form fills, and rankings once a month, with what changed and what I'm doing next.

Questions

What does local SEO cost?
It depends on what your site and profile need, so I start with a short audit and price the work from there. Some businesses need a month of cleanup. Some need a year of steady work.
How long does it take to see results?
Fixes to your profile and listings can show up within weeks. Competitive searches take months. Anyone promising the top spot in thirty days is selling something.
Can you guarantee first place?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Google decides the rankings. What I can promise is honest work on the things that move them, and reports that show you what happened.
Do I need a new website for local SEO?
Not always. Plenty of sites just need better pages and a few technical fixes. If yours needs more than that, I'll say so.

I also offer Website Design & CRO, Google Business Profile Management, and Fractional Marketing Leadership. I work with businesses across Michigan, especially around Flint and Genesee County, and the rest of the US.

What search do you want to win?

Send me your business name, your town, and the search you want to show up for. Within two business days, I'll reply with the first thing standing between you and the map.

Free, and I read every one. I reserve the right not to answer some of them. The fine print.
